How are claim payouts sent?

After you've been approved for a claim payout, you may receive the funds directly via a routing/bank account number. US-based users will also have the ability to receive funds via a US-issued debit card.

Please note: the destination financial institution must be based in one of our supported payout regions: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, and United States

In general, your payout will correspond to the currency of the airfare itinerary you originally protected. Depending on your financial institution, you may receive funds in your native currency equivalent, based on the prevailing currency rates as set by our payment vendor, Stripe.

Payouts to countries not listed above may be paid out via PayPal, depending on availability.

While every effort is made to minimize costs to our end users, FLYR Fare Protection is not responsible for any fees, charges, or exchange rate discrepancies rising as a result inter-region transfers.

I'm from Malaysia and i have paid RM50 to be protected through Trip Advisor. Let's say im booking through Trip Advisor now, how is the claim going to be paid out if it's approved? I used my credit card to make the payment for the protection, will it be paid back to my credit card? Thanks!
