What does the claim process look like?

As soon as you've submitted a Fare Protection claim, you'll receive an automated message confirming our system's receipt.

Valid claims will generally be approved within 2-3 business days. You will receive an email upon approval, prompting you to indicate your method of claim payout via our secure form.

After entering your desired payout details, the approved funds will be sent directly to your financial institution.

  • Please note, upon submitting your details, you will be required to specify the same email address that was originally used to purchase your Fare Protection.
  • For security purposes, you may also be asked for additional information to ensure a secure transfer of funds.

If you purchased Fare Protection on CheapTickets/BudgetAir/Vayama: First, book your flight using the book now link provided in your Fare Protection confirmation email. You will, then, receive a confirmation email stating that you have booked your flight from support@fareprotection.com 

Within this email, you can find a secure payout link to receive your reimbursement. Please fill out this form to start the reimbursement process. After you fill out the secure payout form, you will receive another confirmation email stating your reimbursement is scheduled.

Our system usually takes 24 hours to process the refund. Once the process finishes, a final email will be sent to you reconfirming the designated location chosen on the secure payout form.
